Zhao brings her considerable enthusiasm and energy to our teaching team. Passionate about Chinese language and culture, Zhao takes every opportunity to share this love through teaching children and adults, from school to university, in the UK. A native Mandarin Chinese speaker Zhao settled in the UK in 1995.

Well versed in Chinese literature and history, she believes her first hand knowledge of the Chinese language, Chinese customs and traditions, geography and current affairs is highly beneficial to her teaching and students learning.

‘For me teaching is a way to open the door for many more people to enjoy my beautiful Chinese language as well as the rich culture and history of China. By helping others to learn and comprehend the culture and history that has shaped the Chinese nation I believe I can foster friendship and understanding between people and societies.’
