With over 25 years’ experience in teaching, Lainy remains passionate, energetic, challenged and inspired by working with children to fulfil their academic and emotional potential. 

“I have taught from Nursery age upwards, in a variety of schools, across several countries,” she says. “This has been wonderful! It has allowed me to cherry pick the best practice and work with many truly wonderful educators.” 

During the pandemic Lainy’s school moved to online teaching and she quickly became hooked.  

“In my experience both teacher and pupils work harder for the learning connection online. Respect is greater as we allow conversational turn-taking to flow more effectively, and most importantly the children love the technological side of school. I can honestly say I love teaching online.” 

Lainy left full time teaching due to family commitments and now balances online teaching at Wendover Online School with other interests.  

“I have always been an energetic, creative person and am happy being outside spending time with my family and friends and walking my dog,” she enthuses.  “I love music, books, dancing, photography, travelling and… well, just life!”
