“My love for teaching stems from Marcel Prost’s observation that ‘the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes,’” says Dan. “I aim to inspire my Geography students to see the world around them from a fresh perspective.”
Dan’s interests extend to all aspects of Geography, including environmental change and international development. He has wide experience of teaching Geography at schools and universities. As Subject Lead at a leading international school, he also supported applications to universities worldwide including Oxbridge and prominent international institutions.
For Dan, teaching online provides ideal flexibility for students and their families, and he relishes the challenge to keep students engaged and actively learning. As a Geography examiner for leading UK and international exam boards, Dan also has a strong interest in helping students achieve their desired results through good exam technique as well as theoretical content. “In my spare time, I am a keen traveller and love to explore: I often try to recreate dishes from my travels for friends and family. I also love nature, being in the countryside and relaxing with my friends and family.”
