Nour is an experienced educator with over 17 years of teaching, driven by a passion for supporting students on their learning journey. After completing her Ph.D. in Education at Damascus University in 2016, Nour relocated to the UK in 2017. Since then, Nour has specialised in teaching Arabic to learners of all ages and levels, with a strong focus on preparing students for GCSE Arabic. As an Edexcel GCSE Arabic examiner, she helps students understand what examiners are looking for and guides them with practical strategies and tips to achieve their full potential.

Nour says, “It’s incredibly fulfilling to see my students succeed and grow in confidence, especially when they apply the exam tips and advice I’ve shared.”

The online environment has allowed her to connect with a diverse range of learners in an interactive environment, something she has found incredibly rewarding. Nour has discovered that online teaching means she can tailor lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, creating a more personalised experience. In her experience, students and teachers often feel more at ease in the online setting, which helps build confidence and encourages active participation.

As a naturally curious and creative person, she loves exploring new ideas, whether through reading, travel, or meaningful conversations. Outside the classroom, she enjoys knitting, solving challenging puzzles and games, baking, and going for bike rides whenever possible.
