Sarah embarked on her journey into online teaching during the pandemic, and was inspired as a result to join Wendover Online School. Embracing the transition to virtual classrooms, Sarah recognises the unique differences between online and traditional teaching environments.
In the online setting, Sarah navigates the practical challenges of supplying materials digitally, requiring students to be organised and proactive in managing their resources. Sarah values the opportunity to tailor her classes to individual students, providing personalised support and flexibility that may not be feasible in larger traditional classrooms. Recognising the importance of social connections, Sarah ensures students have opportunities to collaborate and build relationships virtually.
Beyond teaching, Sarah indulges in her love for reading and cake, often enjoying the two simultaneously. In her leisure time, she finds solace in painting and drawing, finding it liberating from the demands of daily life. Sarah’s greatest source of happiness is her family, particularly her two sons, despite her occasional foray into watching more football than desired. With Sarah, students can expect a supportive and engaging learning experience that celebrates individuality and fosters growth.
