Lizzie is passionate about exploring the world we live in and loves sharing this enthusiasm with her students through geography. Although her background is in physical geography and engineering, she loves teaching about how the human and physical worlds link together through big issues like climate change, development and globalisation.

Lizzie enjoys teaching online as it allows her to teach smaller classes where she has the chance to focus on the topics her students are interested in. From a geography perspective, Lizzie finds that teaching students online from around the world is brilliant, as the class can use their different locations and experiences to help with their learning.

Lizzie loves to travel, particularly by train, as it allows her to experience something new and meet different people. In her spare time, Lizzie runs an eco-group, as she is passionate about reducing human impacts on the planet. She is also an avid baker, always offering something she has made to her guests.
