Ben holds a joint honours degree in Sports Science and Mathematics, and has been a qualified mathematics teacher since 2015. He has experience as a classroom teacher, including serving as head of Mathematics, and a small-group tutor in England, China, and Malaysia. Ben has explored over 20 countries and aspires to visit many more in the future.

Like many educators, Ben began teaching online during the pandemic. While he has always incorporated technology into his classroom, teaching online allowed him to take it a step further. He discovered that this digital medium enhanced the quality of resources he could provide to his students. Instead of relying on handwritten notes on a whiteboard, he could create electronically generated notes that were clearer, more concise, and could be saved and revisited at any time.

If Ben had pursued a different career, he would have loved to become a sports coach, having initially gained ‘teaching’ experience in that field. Being a passionate rower, he would gladly spend his days rowing and coaching others, enjoying the serene river environment. However, Ben loves teaching maths and is now a committed supporter of online schooling, delighted to teach maths online with Wendover.
