Online art lessons work well because the cameras can be set up in such a way that the teacher can watch the children creating their art and help them to stretch their thinking and skills as appropriate. Steph aims for lessons to be fun and engaging but with a particular focus on allowing children to develop life skills. This includes things such as decision making, valuing their own ideas and work, trusting their own judgement and evaluating their own art. Steph also aims to expand children’s knowledge of different people and cultures, and of the huge variety of artistic expression in the world.

In her spare time Steph loves to develop her own art skills and very much enjoys experimenting with new and different mediums. She is currently focusing on watercolour painting, but she also enjoys collage and printing. She also enjoys yoga and practices most days. She loves getting out and about in nature.
